Terms of use
Last updated: 7 November 2026
1. Agreement
By using the Darija+ website at darijaplus.site or the Darija+ Android app, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service. The service is operated by Youssef Elfahfouhi, Morocco.
2. The service
Darija+ provides free language-learning content for Moroccan Darija and Amazigh: lessons, phrases, flashcards, a quiz and an AI practice chat. The service is provided as-is and may change or be interrupted at any time. No account is required.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the service for unlawful purposes or to harm other people;
- attempt to bypass the AI daily limit, probe or overload the servers, or interfere with other users;
- scrape or bulk-download content for commercial use without written permission;
- upload or submit malicious code, spam or abusive material;
- misrepresent the service as your own or remove attribution.
We may restrict access where we reasonably believe these rules are being broken.
4. AI practice
AI Practice is a practice partner, not a professional translator, teacher or advisor. Replies are generated automatically and can be inaccurate, incomplete or culturally imprecise. The free service includes a daily message limit (currently 20 messages per device per day), which may change. Do not rely on AI Practice for legal, medical, safety-critical or financial decisions, and do not submit personal or sensitive information.
5. Content accuracy
Darija varies between cities and generations, and Amazigh has several dialects and spelling conventions. The content is compiled with care from the app and public references, but it may contain mistakes. Audio is synthesized by your browser or device and is an approximation, not a recording of a native speaker. If you spot an error, please tell us.
6. Intellectual property
The Darija+ name, logo, design and original lesson content are owned by the project author. You may use the content for personal, non-commercial learning and may quote short extracts with a link to the source. You may not republish the content wholesale or use it commercially without permission. Third-party references remain the property of their respective owners.
7. Downloads and updates
The Android APK is provided for personal use. You are responsible for verifying that your device can install it and for keeping your device secure. We may release updates that change or remove features. Downloading the app does not transfer ownership of the software.
8. Privacy
Our privacy policy explains what data is processed and why. It forms part of these terms.
9. Disclaimer and liability
The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of data, or any harm arising from reliance on the content or the AI. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
10. Changes and termination
We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the current version. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms. You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or discontinue the service, in whole or in part, without notice.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Morocco, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be subject to the competent courts of Morocco, unless mandatory consumer law in your country provides otherwise.
